Search volumes on this site are US monthly figures from our own keyword measurement; the documents and worksheets are built from the public sources named on each page.
The figures above start from a worked example (27). Change any input and the answer updates as you type, the way it will on the day the tenancy actually starts.

The rental application form worksheet builds the application you hand or send to someone enquiring about a unit: who they are and how to reach them, where they live now and where before, their employment and income as they state it, the people and pets who would move in, and their consent to be contacted about the application. It renders a clean form you can print or email and a summary you can file against the unit. It deliberately collects no credit, criminal or eviction data and asks for no consumer report, because screening is a regulated activity with its own bureaus and Lettza does not do it.
Where the constants in this tool come from
What the person managing the let asks before running the Rental application form
Why does this application not ask for a credit or background check? Because pulling a consumer report on an applicant is a regulated activity under federal law, with duties about permissible purpose, disclosure and adverse action that a form cannot discharge, and Lettza holds no screening data by design. The application collects what the applicant tells you. If you want a report, use a screening bureau that is set up for it and follow the FTC's guidance for landlords, which is linked below.
What may I not ask on a rental application? Federal fair housing law prohibits treating an applicant differently because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin, and that reaches the questions you ask as well as the decision you make. Several states and cities add protected classes and some restrict questions about criminal or eviction history entirely. Ask about the tenancy, not about the person.
Can I take applications for the same unit from several people? Yes, and the worksheet is built for it: each application renders separately and files against the same unit, so you can see them beside each other. Apply the same criteria to each in the same order and write down what you applied, which is both the fair thing and the record you will want if anyone ever asks.
Lettza Pro
Keeping the rent against the tenancy that owes it
A worksheet answers the question in front of you and forgets it. A let does not forget: the lease has dates, the rent falls due every month, the arrears carry, and the work order raised in July is the one the owner asks about in October. Lettza Pro keeps every property, unit, lease and tenant, the rent charged and received against each, and every document rendered from that record rather than retyped into it.
- Download the document as a file to send to a tenant or an owner
- Your lease and rent roll without our name on them
- Save a worked tenancy and open it again next month
- Your business name and logo on every document you print
- Take every property, lease, ledger and document out at once
- Email the invoice, receipt or reference letter straight from the record
- Take rent by card or bank debit through your own Stripe account
- Send what you collect to your accounting software instead of retyping it
